“Adventists & War,” edited by D. J. B. Trim and Jiří Moskala and published by the Andrews University Press, “brings together leading historical, biblical, theological, and ethical scholars,” to address the question: “In a world shadowed by war, what does faithfulness look like for Christians called to serve their country?”

On Sabbath, Oct. 24, 2026, the Loma Linda University Church hosted a panel discussion on the book’s themes (view on Vimeo).

We have not yet had the opportunity to read the book and compare it with “Adventists and Military Service,” edited in 2019 by Frank M. Hasel, Barna Magyarosi, and Stefan Höschele.
