Adventist Peace Radio, Episode 56: Becoming a Better Anti-Racist
This episode, #56, features Pastor Taurus Montgomery preaching a sermon titled “Let Justice Roll.” The sermon addresses racial injustice, specifically speaking to white Christians who want to be better anti-racist activists.
On the Sabbath that Pastor Taurus delivered this sermon, he actually spoke twice – first on the Pioneer Memorial Church livestream, what you’ll hear in this episode, and then later that afternoon at a demonstration calling for racial justice. There he was one of the select local community leaders who gave speeches before the march began. That is to say, he is as much at home on the street as he is behind the pulpit. For those who would like to watch the sermon, you can access it on the PMC website. There is a link to the sermon in the show notes for this episode at www.adventistpeace.org/podcast.
Taurus Montgomery is the pastor of Harbor of Hope, a congregation in Benton Harbor, MI, that is connected to Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University.
