Adventist Peace Radio, Episode 120: Takoma Park Church Supports Local Immigrant Families
In this episode, Marci Corea returns as host, interviewing two pastors of the Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church about an event they hosted in support of local immigrant families.
Joshua Goines serves as Minister of Worship for the Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he leads congregational song, curates liturgy, and oversees the church’s musical life. Joshua’s work centers on collaboration with pastors, musicians, and community partners to create services and projects that are artistically thoughtful, spiritually grounded, and welcoming to a wide range of participants.
Stephen Erich is the Pastor for Operations and Community Engagement at Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church and co-founder of the DEI consultancy, Anti Racist Hot Dog. As the Pastor for Community Engagement, Stephen leverages his passion and experience convening events on social issues including race, mass incarceration, and poverty to meet the needs of members of the Takoma Park community.
