Opening: APF Treasurer
The Adventist Peace Fellowship is looking for a qualified person to join the organization as Treasurer. This officer position—like all APF positions—is an unpaid voluntary role.

And a disclaimer: the list of duties may appear long, but since we’re not the largest nonprofit on the block, the time required to complete these tasks is not as significant as it may seem.
Officer: Treasurer
Responsibilities:
Support the mission of the organization by overseeing the financial concerns of the Fellowship. Demonstrate commitment to APF stated values.
Duties:
Track monthly income and expenses (checking account, savings, credit card).
Pay bills and reimbursements as approved by officers and the Board.
Create monthly cash flow statement and balance sheet.
Complete and submit annual state (MD) and federal tax forms (Form 990).
Support the annual budgeting process.
Contribute to the APF mission as needed.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Accounting education and/or experience.
Nonprofit management education and/or experience.
Membership in the Seventh-day Adventist denomination.
