In this episode, Jeff Boyd interviews Michael T. Nixon, Esq. The discussion centers on CLIMATE Change, or the factors that can contribute to racial reconciliation within the Adventist denomination in North America (recorded September 2016).

Michael Nixon serves as the Legal Coordinator for the Fair Housing Justice Center (or “FHJC”) in New York city. He has a law degree from the John Marshall Law School (JMLS) in Chicago, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. During law school, Michael worked as a Civil Rights Law Clerk at the JMLS Fair Housing Legal Clinic.

Michael loves to communicate, and he strives to do so through writing, blogging, and hosting the Ingredients podcast. His wife, Tacyana Nixon, serves as the Lead Pastor at the Princeton SDA Church in Princeton, NJ. Their daughter, Noa Elise Nixon, is 1 years old.

Dr. Nixon is Executive Secretary of the Lake Region Conference, and he was formerly a chaplain at Andrews University and pastor of the New Life Church that meets on the Andrews campus.
